As we do also sell brand new compatible cartridges, we believe in the refill, reuse, recycle mantra. So before buying new, why not let us refill them a few times first!

It’s easy! All you need to do is drop off your empty supported cartridges at our downtown location where it will be cleaned, refilled and tested in 24h or less.

Every year its estimated 60 million cartridges are sold in Canada & around 700 million in North America.Â
Of these only about 5% are properly recycled.Â
It takes over a thousand years for a ink/toner to decompose. That may give you an idea of the extent of damage this is having on the environment. To have so many cartridges ending up in landfills is concerning, but we are here to change that! We offer free pickup of empty inkjet & toner cartridges to be properly recycled (min 5+)!
Now while recycling is good, refilling is better since it saves the energy and materials used in recycling it!
Get the most from your cartridges
Safely Store Inkjet Cartridges
Its important when your cartridges are not in use, that they are properly stored. Unlike toner, ink has the risk of drying out if not in frequent use, or if they are stored in an unsuitable environment.
Here are some tips to help keep your cartridges fresh & ready for your printing needs....
STORAGE:
Clean outside of cartridge (if needed)
Place in a ziplock bag or container along with a small piece of damp paper towel or damp sponge.
Seal & store in a dark, cool place that isnt often exposed Shelf life of (genuine cartridge) is about 24 months. Compatible is around 36 months (if stored correctly)
HELPFUL TIPS:
-Print something at least once a week. This helps keep everything open and flowing.
-Printers have to go through a complete cleaning cycle, which wastes ink. Most modern printers use tiny amounts of power when not in use, therefore its better to leave POWER ON.
